Education

The Education program of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. focuses on the need of higher education in the schools and in the community. The genesis of the Education program lies in the traditional emphasis which the Fraternity places on scholarship and the fundamental reorganization of the Fraternity that took place in the period of 1945-1946. We make scholarships and endowments available whenever possible. We recognize the importance of scholarship and diligent studying to acquire knowledge, for knowledge is truly power, and it is a necessity of our people to empower themselves with whatever means that are available.

Message From – Director of EDUCATION for Kappa Alpha Sigma

The Education Committee is proud to fulfill the vision of the Noble Founders by serving the community in a number of different ways. Brothers provide mentorship to elementary students at Redan Elementary, maintain a Little Free Library, and fundraise to provide local students with thousands of dollars in funds to pursue higher education. Additionally, the Committee partners with the Sigma Beta Club, Bigger and Better Business, and Social Action to create a chapter Brotherhood that is truly unified. We are always looking for new members with dynamic ideas. Please join us at 7pm on the second to last Tuesday of each month for our meeting. Remember: everyone is an educator!
